VOLUNTEERS

WORK ALREADY DONE: The past couple of months we have seen some challenges. We had a complete failure of the water heaters in the Spitz Center. Thanks to Bob and Lowell for coming down and assisting. We're back in Hot water. Touch up painting was done. Sptiz Center chapel lights repaired. The hallway has been prepped for a mural which Sally Vieth is coming to do. The gift shop is complete (Roger Hink built and Ruth Nierman painted) and the Double wide bathroom(Roger Hink and Hal Nierman helped gut and restore) is repaired from the water leak. Thank you to all the volunteers that have come down the past couple of months, you have helped me keep up with the maintenance needs of the camp. Bob and Sally Vieth, Lowell and Vonne Oldehoeft, Hal and Ruth Nierman, Roger and Ruth Hink, and Dave Madden. Betty wants to add special thanks to the all the help in the kitchen and house keeping.
ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR NEXT MONTH: This month we'll be concentrating on bringing the camp back on line. Spring cleanup, turning on the water, finishing the electrical in the campground. It is always a beautiful time down here in the Spring, take a couple of days come down and enjoy the outdoors with us.

NURSE OF THE WEEK:
Are you looking for a unique opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, work with children, and gaining some practical experience? Heit's Point Lutheran Ministries is in need of nurses, to serve as "nurse of the week" for our summer camp program.We are searching for nurses to assist and be available to handle any medical issue that might arise during a week of camp, and distribute medication to camper's as needed. The length of service runs from noon on Sunday to 2:30p.m on the last day of the camp. This is a volunteer position, lodging and food will be provided. If you have a child attending the camp a discount could be available. Camp nurses can be RN, LPN, Nurse Practitioners, or Paramedics
